Guilt..An Incredible Motivator

I have 3 children, and I suffer pangs of guilt all through the day.

Don't get me wrong, I do (almost) everything right, but I know I could do MORE. I should be room mom EVERY year. Instead of driving, I should walk my kids to school. In exchange for dragging them endlessly to the grocery store, I get them that treat they want. Even if I am exhausted after a long day, I shouldn't rush bedtime. I should go to school and eat lunch with my daughter...she says she eats alone and has no friends. Gut-wrenching stuff -- the kind of stuff we all think about, stuff that makes us feel we are not doing enough.

That is why I started making KidsLunchBoxCards -- they've helped me get rid of some of my guilt. Somehow I touch my kids through these cards, and that helps me get through the day -- knowing I've made them smile. They've worked so well for my children that I have decided I have to share them with other mothers.

I've seen so many kids AND moms in tears at drop-off time, and I know too many moms who fret their way through the school day. I know that these lunch box cards bring me together with my kids even when I'm not with them. I hope they will do the same for you.
